Dates are rich in nutrients, vitamins, minerals and micro-nutrients.

Dates are rich in nutrients :
Dates are a great source of dietary fiber and proteins. These fruits are rich in vitamin C (for fresh date), vitamin B1, B2, B3 and B5 and vitamin A1. It includes 20 different types of amino acids that facilitate the process of digestion. Dates are rich in soluble and insoluble fiber (substances of plant origin beneficial for your intestines).
Our need for dietary fiber is 25 to 35 grams of fiber per day. Being a laxative aliment, dates may relieve those who suffer from constipation.

Tonic fruit for our bodies :
Dates are considered one of the finest energizing food . They contain 29 grams of natural sugars such as glucose, fructose and sucrose. They also contain 31 grams of carbohydrates and 3 grams of dietary fiber.
Adding dates in milk can be a very invigorating and nutritious snack, especially during convalescence for children and even adults.

The DEGLET NOUR (meaning "light finger") refers to one of the 300 varieties of existing dates. They say it is the "queen of dates" or "miniature sun" is a protected Tunisian designation.
This variety is particularly rich in energy intake (295 kcal per 100 grams). Fresh, it is comprised of 70% water, sugar and vitamin C. It also contains minerals.
